Sports

Sports and Academics in Agnels are like two sides of a coin. Right from the inception of the school sporting activities have been encouraged and organized with great zest and enthusiasm. Children are offered opportunities to experience and discover their sporting talents. This happens through summer coaching camps held every after the final examinations for a period of three weeks. During these camps hundreds of students (K.G. – X) get introduced to the skills and nuances of almost all the major sports disciplines.

Besides camps, regular training under the guidance of expert coaches is available for sports enthusiasts, in Athletics, Basketball, Chess, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey, Kabbadi, Kho-kho, Rifle shooting, Skating, Swimming and Table tennis.

The school teams participate in several tournaments organized by the sports department and others. This has enabled the school to churn out a large number of state and national players in all disciplines.

In the arena of Lawn tennis, Table tennis, Chess, Swimming, Football, Rifle shooting and Basket ball some extraordinarily talented Agnelites have not only excelled in the country but have also gone ahead to receive international exposure and fame.

Cultural Activities

At Agnels, we believe that education goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. True learning embraces creativity, curiosity, and character, which is why co-curricular and extracurricular activities hold a special place in our curriculum.

From the earliest years, students are encouraged to participate in a wide spectrum of activities that stimulate both mind and body. Whether it is art, music, drama, dance, debates, quizzes, sports, or leadership initiatives, each experience serves as a stepping stone toward building confidence, responsibility, and teamwork. Through these opportunities, our students not only nurture their talents but also imbibe values that shape them into compassionate and capable individuals ready to face the world.

National celebrations are observed with fervour and enthusiasm, as the significance of the days is highlighted through patriotic songs, inspiring speeches, and meaningful messages. The Annual Day, one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year, is a three-day celebration where the entire school community comes together to put up a grand showcase of talent.

Our cultural activities reflect a strong spirit of camaraderie and teamwork among teachers, students, and parents. A distinctive feature is the active involvement of senior students, who often assist teachers in choreographing dances and directing plays. These events provide a platform for children to discover and express their hidden talents, while also fostering creativity, collaboration, and pride in shared achievement.

Educational Trips

At Agnels, we believe that learning extends beyond the four walls of a classroom. Educational tours are an integral part of our annual calendar, offering students not only joy and excitement but also opportunities for personal growth. These experiences broaden their horizons, build self-confidence, and nurture essential values such as sharing, caring, responsibility, and empathy.

The school organizes a variety of enriching trips, including:

  • Cultural Tours: Students of Standards VI to IX travel to different parts of our Incredible India during the Diwali vacation, gaining exposure to the country’s diverse heritage and traditions.
  • Adventure Trekking: Standard X students take part in trekking expeditions in the Himalayan mountain ranges, fostering resilience, teamwork, and a love for nature.
